“For nothing is impossible with God,” the angel Gabriel told Mary after announcing that she would give birth to the Son of God.

“I am the Lord’s servant.  May everything you have said about me come true,” Mary humbly replied.

Days later, when visiting her no-longer-barren relative Elizabeth, Mary listened to Elizabeth exclaim, “Mary, you are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.”  (Luke 1:35-45)

What has the Lord told you he would do in your life?  Is the fulfillment slow in coming?  Don’t be discouraged, for nothing is impossible with God. Like Mary, keep believing and you will see the blessing of the Lord. You are the Lord’s servant.  May everything he has said about you come true!

I cry out to God Most High; to God who will fulfill his purpose for me.  I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings.  My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident.  No wonder I can sing your praise!  I will thank you….  I will sing….  May your glory shine over all the earth!
