Dr. Randy Loescher serves as a professor and as the Director of Church and Educational Partnerships at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on a variety of subjects including Pastoral Care, Prayer, Teaching the Word, Sermon Prep, Church Planting, Team Ministry, Principles of Leadership, Hermeneutics and Spiritual Formation.
An ordained minister, Randy served for seven years in pastoral ministry. He acted as Director for the TEXOMA District of Open Bible Churches for about eight years and Church Planting Director for their Central Region for twelve years.
In 1993, Dr. Loescher and three of his ORU alumni friends founded a missions service organization called Bridge the Gap International, Inc. (BGI). BGI now processes funds for more than forty national and international ministries so that these ministers can focus on ministry rather than accounting.
Randy has a heart to see the Word of God and the Spirit of God treated with equal respect and reverence. He believes the supernatural moving of God’s Spirit and responsible biblical interpretations are not mutually exclusive. He contends that Spirit-filled theologians and Spirit-filled ministers need each other. When these two groups work together, the body of Christ will learn to flow in the Holy Spirit’s anointing and guard that anointing at the same time. Responsible proclamation of the Word will be accompanied by a powerful demonstration of the Word.
If you would like to invite Randy to speak to your church or at your ministry event, you may contact him at (918) 814-8181, or gobgi@gobgi.world. He calls people to lay aside their lukewarmness and enter a place of intimacy and passion for God. He invites them to be true disciples of Christ, not just church-goers. He charges them to live out their faith beyond the walls of church services. He encourages them to pursue a depth of intimacy with God that leads to the release of more of his power. Call or email him for more information.
Randy has been married since May 2000 to his wife Kerry Loescher who is a full-time professor in the Undergraduate Theology Department at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. Together, they have five children and five grandchildren.
