I will let this portion of reading from the One Year Bible speak for itself. From Numbers 11…
“Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them, and he sent a fire to rage among them, and he destroyed some of the people in the outskirts of the camp.” (vv. 1-2)
Again, “the people of Israel began to complain. ‘Oh, for some meat! We remember the fish we used to eat in Egypt. All we ever see is this manna!'” (vv.4-6)
“The Lord became extremely angry. You have rejected the LORD, who is here among you, and you have whined to him, saying, ‘Why did we ever leave Egypt?'” (vv. 10,20)
Lord, forgive me for my whining and complaining. I do not want to dishonor and disrespect you in this way. I do not want to be short-sighted and ungrateful. I want to be thankful, celebrating your faithfulness to me every day, for your presence is with me. Gracias, Senor, por todos tus bendiciones en mi vida! Amen.
