Small Hands, Bare Feet, Smiling and Shouting

Sitting in McDonald’s having my quiet time with God, I see small children running around and playing on the indoor playground.

Conception: The Beginning of Human Life

Small hands.

Bare feet.

Smiling, squealing, shouting.

Up the slide.  Down the slide.

How amazing and full of energy they are!

As adorable, precious children, they each exhibit their own unique personalities and cute looks.  Climbing from level to level and crawling through the tunnels, they point to the magnificence of God their Creator. Remember back where each one began…as a baby in a mother’s womb.

Newborn

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

You saw me before I was born.

Every day of my life was recoded in your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Psalm 139:13-16

Thank you, Lord, for the beauty of your human creation!
