Lord, deliver me from my poverty mentality.  May I never think that this life is all about me, what I can get, what I can accomplish and who I can get to like me.  Everything I have I received from you.  In fact, everything I have belongs to you.  Help me to hold on to all I have loosely, ready to give money and possessions away the very moment you prompt me.  May my possessions never own me.  May my treasure be where my true home is, in heaven with you.  I choose today to seek first your kingdom, knowing that you will take care of all my needs.  Amen!
